Sherman Township, MO (March 19, 2020) – An auto accident on Wednesday left three victims injured.

Just before 3 p.m., on March 18, 49-year-old Calvin Baumgarden was traveling west along the roadway in a 1991 Chevrolet when his vehicle collided with a 1993 Ford driven by 32-year-old Daniel Baney at the intersection of Missouri Highway 7 and Thunder Road.

The impact of the collision caused the Ford to overturn and come to rest on the northwest side of the intersection. The Chevrolet slid to a halt nearby.

Baumgarden, and Baney were both injured and transported to Research Main Kansas City for treatment immediately after the incident.

A passenger in one of the vehicles, who was identified as 33-year-old Christopher Collins, sustained minor injuries and was rendered aid at the scene.

At this time, MHP is investigating.
