Sedalia, MO (May 11, 2020) – Just before 8 a.m., on May 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto collision on US Highway 65.
Reports show that 40-year-old Charles W. Muriuki was attempting to make a left turn onto Rebar Drive in a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia when his vehicle collided with a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck. The Dodge was totaled in the accident.
The driver of the Dodge, who was identified as 58-year-old Billy D. Splane, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported via EMS to Bothwell Hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
