Peculiar, MO (March 9, 2020) – Two victims suffered injuries in a motor vehicle accident Sunday afternoon, according to police.
Just before 3:10 p.m., on March 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto accident on State Highway Y. Reports indicate that 33-year-old Katherine E Bukowski was traveling along the roadway in a 1998 Honda when she lost control of her vehicle at the joining curve of 233rd Street. The vehicle rolled over, ejecting the driver.
A 1996 Honda, driven by 45-year-old Joshua R Thompson, was traveling down the road when his vehicle collided with the first Honda. Thompson’s vehicle then rolled over, ejecting him in the process. Both vehicles then collided again and slid off the roadway.
Both Thompson and Bukowski were injured in the collision.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Katherine E Bukowski and Mr. Joshua R. Thompson at this time.
