Pacific, MO (April 2, 2020) – A three-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening left one person seriously injured. On March 31, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Franklin Country.

Reports indicate that 35-year-old Katie St. John was traveling east along Interstate 44 in a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan when her vehicle was involved in a collision. St. John’s vehicle, along with the two other vehicles involved, a 2008 Chrysler Aspen, driven by 41-year-old Elizabeth Buchanan and a 2012 Ford Focus, driven by 69-year-old Diana Hughes, all sustained extensive damages.

St. John suffered moderate injuries in the collision. She was transported via Meramec Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington for treatment.  It is unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in this accident.

At this time, MHP is investigating.

Our thoughts are with Ms. Katie St. John and anyone else who was affected by this accident.
