Odessa, MO (July 1, 2020) – An automobile accident Tuesday evening in Odessa left one man seriously injured. At approximately 6:40 p.m., on June 30, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 131.
Reports from authorities show that 34-year-old Joseph L Specker was traveling north on Missouri Highway 31 in a 1998 Ford Explorer when his vehicle collided head-on with a 1995 Toyota, which was driven by 22-year-old Pointsetta Bunyar.
Specker suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital immediately following the collision. Ms. Bunyar escaped serious injuries in the accident. At this time, MHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
