Motorcycle Accidents in Lee’s Summit

Sadly, the majority of motorcyclists are aware that most drivers often fail to notice a bike on the roadway. Some drivers are merely absent-minded, while others have no respect for motorcycles. An absence of driver awareness and flagrant disregard for the rules of the road are a threat to everybody on Missouri’s roads. Regrettably, these thoughtless driving behaviors are especially dangerous to anyone riding a motorcycle.

Although riding a motorcycle is an enjoyable method of transportation for many Missouri residents, not every journey has a happy ending. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration published a report stating that, in 2013, upwards of 4,668 people died and a further 88,000 sustained injuries nationwide as the result of their involvement in motorcycle collisions.

A Missouri motorcycle accident attorney will be familiar with all the ins and outs of the state’s legal system, its traffic laws, and how to handle big insurance companies that would otherwise try to bully you into a smaller settlement.
