King City, MO (May 20, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon left one woman seriously injured. The incident took place at approximately 3:15 p.m., on May 19. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto collision on US Highway 169.
Reports show a 2006 Pontiac Torrent, a 2005 Volvo Semi, and a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck collided along the southbound side of the highway just three miles north of King City.
The driver of the Pontiac, who was identified as 36-year-old Candy Roberts, suffered serious injuries in the collision. Roberts was transported via Life Flight to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
At this time, the MHP is investigating.
