Hunting Accidents in Iowa

Hunting is a pastime that holds an important place in the lives of most Americans. Going back since before the days of pioneers, the frontier, and the wild west, both hunters and their firearms have played a significant role in shaping the backbone of our country. The hunting accident attorneys at Monsees & Mayer, PC recognize the deep roots and the significance of this unique industry.

The Missouri Department of Conservation defines a hunting-related accident as any incident in which someone is injured by a firearm or bow during the pursuit of fur-taking or hunting. Finding evidence to support your version of events during a hunting accident claim is often extremely complicated. Homeowners’ insurance carriers begin working to safeguard their monetary interests the moment they are notified of such an event. Your insurance company will spare no expense to reduce your claim or get it thrown out entirely.

A Missouri hunting accident attorney will be familiar with all the ins and outs of the state’s legal system, its hunting laws, and how to handle big insurance companies that would otherwise try to bully you into a smaller settlement.

If you have sustained an injury as the result of a hunting accident and are considering filing a personal injury claim, reach out to the reputable attorneys at Monsees & Mayer, PC by calling (816) 361-5555.
