Pedestrian Accidents in Kansas City

Data published by the U.S. Department of Transportation confirms that approximately 6,000 pedestrians die annually in car accidents. That means roughly 16 victims are struck and killed every single day. Additionally, about 110,000 pedestrians sustain moderate to critical injuries each year.

All car accidents are distressing and inconvenient. An accident involving a pedestrian, however, is particularly devastating both physically and emotionally. The grievous bodily harm that is often caused is typically catastrophic, resulting in life-long injuries, paralysis, or even death.
