Kansas City, MO (December 06, 2019) – A 63-year-old woman was hit by a car on Thursday, December 5th as she attempted to cross the street.
Police were dispatched to the scene of a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Poplar Avenue and Linwood West Drive at about 3:40 p.m. in the afternoon.
Their initial investigation revealed that a car that was driving westbound, hit a female pedestrian as she was making her way southbound across the street.
The victim was transported to a local medical facility. As of Thursday night, her condition was listed as critical.
The driver stayed at the accident site and cooperated with the authorities conducting the investigation.
