Kansas City, MO (May 4, 2020) – An auto accident reported early Sunday morning claimed two victims’ lives and left three others seriously injured.

Just before 2 a.m., on May 3, the Kansas City Police Department was notified of an auto collision on East 12th Street. Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, police discovered that a dark grey Lexus was traveling east along East 12th Street when the vehicle collided with the passenger side of a Chevy Traverse. The Lexus then struck a utility pole. 

The driver and passenger inside the Lexus were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver and two passengers inside the Chevy were rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
