Kansas City, MO (April 22, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian left one victim critically injured on Monday.

At around 11 p.m., on April 20, the Kansas City Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on Blue Ridge Boulevard. 

Reports indicate that a pedestrian was walking along Blue Ridge Boulevard, just east of US Highway 71, when they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the crash and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
