Officers from the Kansas City Police Department stated the man driving the Pilot fled from the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot, but officers quickly took him down.
The driver of the Ford Fusion was unharmed during the incident.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victims at this time.
