Kansas City, MO (June 15, 2020) – An automobile accident on Saturday afternoon claimed one child’s life and left several victims injured, according to reports. On June 13, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 29.
Reports from MSHP show that a Ford Explorer was traveling north along Interstate 29 when it collided with a Toyota Prius, which was stopped for traffic near mile marker 19.6. The collision forced the Toyota into two other vehicles on the road.
A child inside the Prius was killed instantly in the accident. Three other occupants inside the Prius were transported to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
