Kansas City, MO (January 1, 2020) – The bicyclist injured in a motor vehicle accident on Christmas Eve has succumbed to his injuries, according to police.

Reports from authorities state that just before midnight, on December 24, 31-year-old Pablo Sanders Jr was riding a bicycle in the area of Valentine Road and Southwest Trafficway when he was struck from behind by a silver Buick.

Sanders incurred critical injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, authorities confirmed that Sanders passed away on December 31 due to the extent of his injuries.

At this time, police are investigating the collision.
