Similarly to the recall issued for Big Game Tree Stands, a recall was issued on Alliance Outdoor products for their 2017 model year X-Stand Climbing Treestand Silent Adrenaline XSCT334, and Apache XSCT355. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the firm has received five reports of the tree stand’s cable separating, resulting in two injuries involving fractures. The cable assemblies on the Alliance treestand can separate due to corrosion, which poses a fall hazard for the user. The Silent Adrenaline tree stand was sold at Sportsman’s Guide stores, and the Apache tree stand was sold nationwide and online from May 2017 to December 2018.
