Henley, MO (June 10, 2020) – A motorcycle collision on Tuesday afternoon left one person seriously injured. At 2 p.m., on June 10, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Brown Road.
Reports from MHP show that 20-year-old Nicholas Fry was traveling down Brown Road on a 2008 Kawasaki KAF700 Mule when his vehicle collided with a 2012 Ford E350 Van just .4 miles north of the intersection with Fall Hill Road.
Fry sustained serious injuries and was transported via Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Nicholas Fry and his family at this time.
Motorcycle Accidents in Missouri
More than 2,100 motorcycle accidents take place annually in the state of Missouri. Many of these accidents leave victims with life-altering injuries. The fact that motorcyclists generally wear little more protection than helmets means they are likely to suffer broken bones, spinal cord injuries, and other traumatic injuries that require extensive medical treatment, hospitalization, and therapy. Although there are endless stereotypes surrounding the actions of motorcyclists, they are often victimized by other drivers sharing the road. When motorcyclists sustain injuries in accidents as a result of another driver’s reckless actions or inattentiveness, it is crucial that they reach out to a personal injury attorney in Missouri as soon as possible.
