Colfax Township, MO (June 1, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Sunday claimed one victim’s life and left three others injured.
At around 1:52 p.m., on May 31, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Colfax Township.
Reports show that a 2002 Cadillac Deville was traveling east on SW Rogers Road, driven by 52-year-old John Harman, when his vehicle collided with a 2008 Honda CRV, driven by 41-year-old Eric Hartley, at the intersection with SW Lakesite Road.
A passenger inside the Cadillac, who was identified as 50-year-old Donna Cook, was rushed to Cameron Regional Medical Center where she was declared deceased.
John Harman suffered moderate injuries and was rushed to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
Eric Hartley and his passenger, 48-year-old Emily Hartley, were both transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
