Branson West, MO (January 20, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident claimed one man’s life on Monday.

During the afternoon hours of January 20th, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Business 13. Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol state that a motor vehicle was traveling along the roadway when it struck a Jeep Cherokee head-on.

The impact of the collision caused one vehicle to roll over onto its side, trapping the driver inside.

A 40-year-old male driver, identified as Roman Hand, sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep, who was identified as 19-year-old Mackenzie Duvall, was uninjured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating.
